After the success of the Local Power Buying Group #1-#6 projects, Local Power Buying Group #7 is open!

The upgrade pricing on this page applies to people who are NOT eligible for the Solar Credits incentive, because they already have a PV system and have already accessed the PVRP/SHCP rebate or Solar Credits incentive at the same premises. If you don't have a PV system and are eligible for Solar Credits please go to our regular Buying Group page by clicking here.

NB the pricing below may not be the latest as our supplier is holding a special, while stocks last. Please contact us for the latest special pricing.

This next table is the pricing for an additional complete system to the one already on your premises. The yellow column below is the maximum cost you will pay for a standard install of a PV solar system of various sizes, and includes the cost of the panels, inverter, all other required components and installation by a Clean Energy Council accredited installer and Local Power fee.

Assuming the the REC (STC) price at the time of your install is $26, the "final cost less RECs (STCs) at $26" is also shown in the green column. Local Power does not know what future REC prices will be. Local Power will arrange for participants the best REC (STC) price available at the time, and you will receive the REC (STC) payment as the final step in the buying group process. (for previous Local Power Buying Group members only)

This next table is the pricing for additional sharp panels on your existing Local Power Buying Group system, where you have spare inverter capacity. The yellow column below is the maximum cost you will pay for a standard install of a PV solar panels upgrade of various sizes, and includes the cost of the panels, all other required components and installation by a Clean Energy Council accredited installer and Local Power fee. Extra costs for tile are in the far right column.

3x185W panels upgrade is suitable on Fronius IG-20 (2kW inverter) with 1.5kW 175/180W panels installed in BG#1, BG#2, BG#3
6x185W panels upgrade is suitable on Fronius IG-30 or Xantrex 2.8GT (3kW inverters) with 2kW of 175/180/185W panels installed in BG#1, BG#2, BG#3, BG#5 & BG#6
